The Story is our complete tasting experience at Strataridakis Winery in Kastelliana, southern Crete. Six estate wines including:

  • 3 Whites: Moschato Spinas, Aspra Charakia & Assyrtiko
  • 1 Rose: Vera Rosa
  • 2 Reds: Kokkina Chomata & Ichnilatis

Aswell as a curated selection of cold small plates, a walk through the vineyard, and an hour and fifteen minutes to understand what this land actually tastes like.

At the southern edge of Europe, where the Asterousian mountains meet the vines, the terroir does something particular to the grape. We have been farming this specific piece of land since 1954 and every wine we pour carries that history in the glass.

The Glass will introduce you to us. The Story is where you stay a little longer.

If you are looking for wines of the highest quality on crete you will find the very best here, standing on the same level with the best spanish, french and californian wines. Lovely people, so full of enthusiasm for their work!!

We went to the winery looking for the tasting and buying some wine because we tasted one of their wines in the restaurant and it was really good. We called and the owner said that they did not offer wine tasting due to busy harvest season, but we can still buy their wines at the premise. He showed us all their products and we got several of them. He was so kind to offer two bottles as gifts and even rounded the number down. Highly recommend to try their wines while in Crete.
