The Heritage is our flagship tasting experience at Strataridakis Winery in Kastelliana, southern Crete.

Seven estate wines featuring our two most significant labels:

  • The Flagships: Barbatus & Inatos
  • The Selection: Five additional estate wines representing the depth of our cellar.

Aswell as a curated selection of cold small plates, a walk through the vineyard, and an hour and fifteen minutes to understand what this land actually tastes like.

At the foothills of the Asterousia Mountains, the landscape opens up to the vines. If our other wines capture the history of this land since 1954, these bottles capture its soul.

These are the rare, oak-aged expressions, including our oldest Moschato Spinas vines that define our identity at Europe’s southernmost edge.

The Glass will introduce you to us. The Story is where you stay a little longer. The Heritage is where we pour our finest.

If you are looking for wines of the highest quality on crete you will find the very best here, standing on the same level with the best spanish, french and californian wines. Lovely people, so full of enthusiasm for their work!!

We went to the winery looking for the tasting and buying some wine because we tasted one of their wines in the restaurant and it was really good. We called and the owner said that they did not offer wine tasting due to busy harvest season, but we can still buy their wines at the premise. He showed us all their products and we got several of them. He was so kind to offer two bottles as gifts and even rounded the number down. Highly recommend to try their wines while in Crete.
