The tasting offers an overview of our production and winemaking philosophy: five wines will be served, paired with selected savory pastries designed to enhance the flavors of each wine.
The Sassotondo story will be told through colors: the white Isolina, the rosé Lady Marmalade, followed by three different shades of red — the Sassotondo Rosso, the Ombra Blu, and the iconic, multi-award-winning San Lorenzo, our Ciliegiolo from an old vineyard overlooking the breathtaking landscape of Pitigliano.
The winery has been certified organic since 1994 and is part of the Volcanic Wines and Independent Winegrowers circuits.
When you visit us, prepare for a journey into the countryside, immersed in the natural beauty of rural Tuscia. Everything revolves around the vineyard and wine, so we recommend wearing comfortable outdoor clothing.
Tastings are held either under our patio or in the air-conditioned tasting room, depending on the weather.
