The host took all the time to show me and my partner the different vineyards during a nice walk. in the process we learned a huge amount about the characteristics of a good vineyard and why a grand cru vineyard is so special. We then arrived at a table in the middle of the vineyards where we were able to enjoy different wines. Of course there were several wines that were also really very tasty, we were able to purchase these for a very nice price. Highly recommended!!!!!

We had a wonderful hike/wine tasting in Lieser with Pam, owner of Weingut Gindorf. We stayed at Schloss Lieser and It was a short walk to the meeting place. The vineyards are nearby and Pam has a wealth of knowledge on how the vineyards are parceled out in the area and how the wines are made. She provided wonderful snacks to consume (as well as water) with the wines we tasted. We enjoyed them all! The vineyard hike and tasting is in full sun, so we would suggest a hat and sunglasses. Worth your precious vacation time!!
The afternoon spent with John was awesome. I have zero experience and went with my partner who has a good education in wine. We both thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and sat on the vineyard overlooking the Mosel tasting some great wine. Highly recommended, thanks again Winegut Gindorf

We can thoroughly recommend this wine adventure through the vineyards. We have done several tours but this was exceptional. So interesting to be out in the vines so as to learn more about organic vineyards, part organic and the pros and cons of the options. Loved the wine tasting and explanation out in the vineyards themselves. Would do this tour again.
