Stopped by chance between two downpours. What a nice surprise!! Wine, history and works of art, very interesting visit (in French, a little unexpected bonus). Our guide (qualified oenologist) adapted to our level (very beginner) and in addition to information about the vineyard, we had great conversations about the history of the building and the artists on display (and all this accompanied by a really excellent sparkling wine). We loved this experience.

Truly amazing experience: intimate tour with a deep history of the winemaking and building’s history, curated art, and - of course - fantastic wine. We loved the four varieties we tried, and walked away with a bottle we are looking forward to savoring (Wild rosé). We’ll need to figure out how to order more back in Manhattan Our guide (unfortunately we forgot her name — sorry!) was fantastically intelligent and so knowledgeable. Shoutout to a kitten that wandered into the tasting room, we love you Tuxedo!

This is a great destination. Diana was a wonderful host and did a fabulous job of explaining the wines and the history of the building. Definitely worth visiting on your visit to Douro Valley.
