The Douro: The World’s Oldest Demarcated Wine Region
Quanta Terra's roots trace back to the 1990s when its founders first met while working in the Department of Enology at the Trás-os-Montes Cellars. The estate, situated at an average elevation of 215 meters with a southwest exposure, originally spanned 30 hectares, including 12 hectares of vines over 20 years old.
Wines Crafted with Expertise
Oenologist Celso Pereira plays a crucial role in the winemaking process, overseeing the entire vineyard production cycle. His background in engineering has been complemented by extensive experience gained through workshops, conferences, and fairs. This dedication ensures that each bottle of Quanta Terra wine reflects the quality and passion that goes into its creation.
