My wife, son, his bride and I went to the Tola vineyard for a wine tasting. Francesco met us outside before starting a tour. The facility and the education we received about it was very cool. We learned about the process from vine to bottle to shipping. Our wine tasting session proved to be even more interesting. Starting with the cheese, meats and olive tray. After our first bottle Francesco served us some more delicious food in the form of caprese with anchovies on sourdough. Francesco was a fantastic host. The vineyard is beautiful. Looking forward to returning to Sicily. Tola will be on our schedule! Grazie mille Francesco! Salute!

We chose a 3-generation winery and a rainy day as our program. We couldn't have found a better one. Fracesco and his brother are fantastic hosts. They guided me through the history of the winery, tactfully allowing time between tasting the wines, the local cheeses, olive oil pressed the day before, salamis, their own olives.... Pampering on every level. It's so good that the winery started by the grandfather is carried on by generations, combining new technology, knowledge and sophistication. It's a must!
