Welcome to Wine Point, nestled in the vibrant heart of Tbilisi. Here, you can taste the rich and diverse world of Georgian wines, celebrated for their distinctive flavors and deep-rooted traditions.

Our knowledgeable sommeliers will guide you through each tasting, sharing captivating stories about the wines, the dedicated winemakers, and the traditional qvevri fermentation method, which UNESCO recognizes as an intangible cultural heritage. Each tasting highlights the unique characteristics of Georgian wines, from refreshing whites to bold reds and distinctive amber wines crafted in qvevri.

What to Expect:

  1. Red Wines: Savor the bold flavors of Saperavi, Georgia's signature red grape. With its deep ruby hue and rich aromas of dark berries, this wine offers a complex palate with notes of plum, cherry, and subtle spices.
  2. White Wines: Enjoy the crisp and aromatic whites, including Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane. These wines feature floral and citrus notes, balanced with refreshing acidity.
  3. Qvevri Wines: Learn about the ancient qvevri winemaking tradition, where wines are fermented and aged in clay vessels buried underground. These natural wines provide unique earthy flavors and a strong connection to the land.

Super cozy place in the center of the city. Wide selection of wines for any taste and personality, also for take away. Good quality cheese and snacks are available to pair with and have a small aperitivo solo or in company. Staff is friendly, prices are fair, and atmosphere is ideal for easy and slow evenings away from city chaos.

Fabulous wine bar. Stopped here as it’s a short walk from the funicular and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. We tried some wine and paired it with cheese which was really nice. We even bought some wine to take away. A great find.

What a fabulous place to enjoy a wine sampling and relax. This is a small place with a few tables outside and more inside. It is clean with muted colors and lighting and a fabulous assortment of not only local wines but music playing the background. Salome was my wine steward and she is outstanding. Her love of wine and knowledge was surpassed only by her love of Georgia. I had the pleasure of speaking with her for sometime and it only enhanced an already amazing wine tasting experience. I HIGHLY recommend you make your way here from the hustle-and-bustle of the touristy area and enjoy Georgian wines relaxing in the comfort of traditional Georgian hospitality. Thank you ladies for an outstanding experience.

Really enjoyed our wine tasting here. Tried Amber wine for the first time (and liked it) and for the first time in my life I found a red wine that not only I could drink but I actually liked (and bought a bottle). The service was excellent - outline of Georgian wine making history as well as details about the wines, along with a cheeseboard with the most amazing honey I have ever tasted. And they are kind to street dogs as well 🙂
