Welcome to Klet Brda winery, where you can learn about the fascinating history and traditions of winemaking in the Brda region. Join us for a guided tour of our cellar and picturesque vineyards, where you’ll witness the entire winemaking process, from grape harvesting to bottling. The breathtaking Brda landscape will captivate you with its rolling hills and lush vineyards.

Your tasting experience includes a self-guided sampling of around ten of our award-winning wines, complemented by crispy grisini and local delicacies. To enhance your knowledge, our winemaker will provide you with an informative sheet detailing the characteristics and qualities of each wine.

Here’s how the tasting at Klet Brda works:

  1. You will receive a value card worth €18.
  2. Choose from 24 premium wines available in our wine machines.
  3. Individual samples range from €1 to €4, allowing you to customize your selection.
  4. Your card balance decreases based on your chosen wine samples.
  5. You can top up your card if needed; however, any unused balance will not be refunded.

We enjoyed our time here. The tour was relatively short but that allowed for plenty of time for a wine tasting. We do wish that they would’ve given more knowledge about each of the wines, but it was nice being able to pick and choose the wines that you wanted to taste.

Fun concept in a nice setting. You get a pre-loaded card with 18 euro and you pour your own tasting size sample of wine. This is followed by a tour of the winery.

You won't drink wines like those in this cellar for this price anywhere else, but the goal is to remain top quality at affordable prices. I don't want to write about the large wineries I've turned my back on precisely because of their inflated prices. It's fine that I couldn't afford a bottle a week, but as a big wine drinker, I think it's foolish to buy wines for €20, €30, or more that are priced at this price just for a story, but without any substance.
