We spent this weekend in Rüdesheim and ate at the winery. At the moment there is still a Spanish tenant there. Very friendly staff and great, authentic Spanish cuisine. The view is amazing. The great weather made us feel like we were on vacation. In retrospect, the price-performance ratio is not entirely right. We had the mixed tapas platter with 5 tapas each, which consisted only of vegetables apart from a chicken dish, and paid €26 per person. Unfortunately there wasn't a single fish dish that would have justified this high price. Also, dessert was one of the 5 dishes from the tapas platter. Not the ideal solution as it wasn't mentioned anywhere. Nevertheless, everything was delicious and of course the rent isn't that cheap, so it's fine for us if you want to treat yourself.

Wish our tour would have given us more time at the winery. The winery is family owned. He gave the kids apple juice. We bought several bottles to take back to the States.
