We visited the cellar at the end of August (the site provides all the information about it), Mr. Paride was able to tell us with great enthusiasm the curiosities and secrets of these vineyards, it was a real pleasure.

We called ahead and stopped in for a tasting an hour later - we had no idea that the tasting would be led by the winery owner! We sampled three Aglianico del Vulture wines: an IGT, and two DOCGs and we left with three cases! They were all delicious. Especially this middle DOCG named Noct because the grapes were picked at night to bring out additional aromas and flavors! We dropped a bit of cash here and enjoyed an hour or more with the owner who spoke almost perfect English! Only 4 stars because the food accompanying out pairing was only tarallini and after spending almost 400Euro on wine, they really could have waived the 20Euro tasting fee - or thrown in one of ten bottles that we opened for our tasting… Definitely 5 star wine! Stop and enjoy them!
