Our host Jordi explained to us both the historical part of Priorat and the history of the winery and the production and history of its wines. We took a guided tour of the winery where we saw the fermentation tanks, amphorae, barrels and large bottles for fermentation, aging and conservation of the wine, with a detailed explanation from Jordi. We were lucky enough to agree that they had collected a small amount of grapes that they had prepared to start fermentation and we could see that the grapes are smaller and rarer due to this year's drought. He also showed us the machinery for destemming the grapes, as they usually only do the fermentation with the grapes without the stem. We were also able to visit the mill where he showed us how a great oil is made there. Both products are totally organic and ecological, with minimal intervention. Very attentive to our questions and doubts at all times. Then we tasted 4 of their wines and also the oil. It's a small family winery but it's very interesting how they make their wine. It was a great visit, very pleasant and welcoming. Thank you for checking us out so often. Highly recommended.

Wonderful visit to Grattavinum! The wines are incredible and it was such a treat to share them with one of the winery owners! We also had a local lunch and visited another winery. David and Juan were wonderful hosts with many insights into wine and life! We had a lovely day and would definitely recommend for anyone else that wants a unique insight into Priorat with some delicious wines!

Our visit to Gratavinum was great! The experience surpassed our expectations and was incredibly informative. David was our host and he did a great job at talking about the wines and olive oil, the land and production process, as well as how history (regional, national, and worldwide) intertwines with the development of the Priorat region. The wine and oil tasting was also great and of high quality. And the location is absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend!
