Wine tasting at the Toni Lorenz winery

Enjoy a wine tasting in a convivial setting—whether with friends, family, or colleagues. Discover the diversity of our wines and let us guide you through a selection of six exquisite wines, which we are happy to introduce to you.

The Middle Rhine Valley is particularly known for its Rieslings. Thanks to the slate soil and cool climate, the grapes ripen slowly and develop their distinctive aroma. At our winery, Riesling takes center stage, complemented by Burgundy varieties (white, rosé, and red), as well as other exciting grape varieties.

Wine tasting procedure:

Location: In our winery in Boppard
Included: mineral water and baguette

Really good hotel on the Rhein. Spacious room, good service, excellent restaurant, fine dining. Amazing selection of wines.

A little pricey for lunch but I was shocked how good the food was. We stumbled upon this place taking a break from cycling. Food was memorable and delicious. View of the town across the Rhine was fantastic. Service was very German but friendly enough. English happily spoken!

A hotel right on the river, with a large terrace. Private parking spaces in front of the door. Garage and electricity for e-bikes. Rooms recently renovated. Very good food and very good wine from the estate.

Rooms: The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Clean towels and soap. We had to search for the hand soap, as it was on the wall opposite the sink. We also had a lovely view of the Rhine from the room. Service: All the service staff were very friendly. There was a bottle of water in the room and a locked garage for bicycles at night. Breakfast in the morning was good, with a wide selection. Okay for vegetarians, but not suitable for vegans. Unfortunately, we had this experience throughout the entire area: even as a vegetarian, it's difficult to get anything other than salad or fries. We therefore deliberately decided against dinner in the restaurant, as we were told there was a vegetarian option, but not what it was. The hotel's evening offerings are limited to a set menu, not an a la carte menu. And now we come to the biggest negative point: Location: Yes, the hotel is beautifully situated right on the Rhine, with a wonderful view. BUT, unfortunately, it's located on a main road and right next to the railway line. Additionally, we were also pushed to our limits while searching for somewhere to eat dinner nearby (as cyclists with bad weather). The neighboring town of St. Goar was already dead by 5 p.m., and there were few culinary options if you don't eat meat. Overall, we had a positive impression of the hotel and it's a good option for an overnight stay along the Rhine Cycle Path. Thank you for your hospitality.

For the first time, my wife and I went on holiday on the Rhine. We spent 8 wonderful days in your Hotel Landsknecht. From the cleaning staff to the manager, everyone was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and very plentiful. The menus were also perfect. And the good Lorenz wine was a great way to end the evening. The rooms in the hotel were very clean, tasteful, beautifully furnished and designed, so that a certain feel-good effect was created. We will miss the beautiful view from our window of the Rhine with the boat traffic and the view of Maus Castle. Regarding accessibility, which was very important for my wife in a wheelchair, we can only say that our room was easy to reach and the bathroom with a large ground-level entrance to the large shower was also no problem. We would like to thank you for the very nice stay and can only warmly recommend the Wein Hotel Landsknecht. Finally, one more thing, the Lorenz wine tastes good even in the beer city of Einbeck.

We stayed there for one night in our camper van and enjoyed breakfast for two. The staff and breakfast were 5-star. The price for breakfast was €44, but it only gets 3 stars, which is quite expensive. Quite noisy at night, as it's on a railway line with quite a lot of train traffic at night. 2 stars. The view is 5 stars. I'd give it 4 stars overall.

We felt very comfortable at the Weinhotel Landsknecht. The room was very large, air-conditioned and very clean. The service is good, we can't complain. The location is also very good, despite the big road the rooms are quiet. I think we will see each other again.
