Your visit begins with a guided tour of our picturesque vineyard and apple orchard. Learn about the history of Vesterhave Vingaard and how we produce high-quality wines in Denmark. We’ll cover our unique planting systems, grape and apple varieties, and the meticulous cultivation and pruning techniques we use. You’ll also see the innovative "Pergola" system for growing wine plants, a first in Denmark and the Nordic region.

Next, we’ll take you to our charming wine cellar, where you can view our oak barrels and learn about the aging process.

Finally, we’ll head to the winery and farm shop to discuss our wine production methods post-harvest. You’ll gain insights into how we create our exquisite Rosé wines, Amarone-style red wines, and apple ice wines. The tasting session will feature a selection of our exciting wines, including our renowned Amarone-style red wine made from dried grapes, refreshing rosé wines, and delightful apple ice wine. The entire experience lasts about 2-3 hours, but we can adjust the timing to fit your schedule.

For three consecutive years, we have received the Excellence Award from Tripadvisor and are currently ranked as the 4th best tourist attraction in Denmark!

Stayed overnight with dinner. What to say - so cosy and friendly atmosphere, with soulful interior and very friendly owners! Small surprises for our kid were so much appreciated :) Nice and cosy place to recharge!!!!

Vesterhave Vingård is a very inspiring place to visit. We have great respect for Jesper's determined commitment to the development of organic wine production in Denmark. And when it is as successful as we experienced at the last winemakers' dinner on 22 November, then it is the crowning glory. The visit was a fantastic experience. Very interesting and exciting story. Super concept around organic and sustainable wine and Danish red wine with such great taste. Jesper is extremely involved and transparent about his farm and techniques. A gem you must visit if you are interested in wine!

The vineyard is located just outside Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located close to the sea and has a lot of holistic and natural surroundings. The owners are very friendly and kind and introduced us to all their work and wines and made us feel very welcome. I would love to visit again in the future and stay here for a long time.
