The Mosel is our life.

Our family has been linked to Mosel wine for 400 years. For centuries, high-quality Riesling wines have been produced in our steep slopes through elaborate manual work in harmony with Nature. With truly unique qualities, wines from these locations have shaped the reputation of high-quality Mosel wines all over the world.

With a scenic view over the river to the breathtaking steep slopes of the Ürziger Würzgarten. Our tasting room invites for wine and culinary events. Built using high-quality, environmentally friendly materials in timber construction in accordance with sustainability standards. The variety of our wines is appropriately presented in the aesthetically beautiful and functional premises.

One of the better wineries in Germany. They were very hospitable when we visited in October 1993. The son (probably now the owner) speaks flawless english.

We weren't planning on stopping here... but on the recommendation of some friends we decided to stop... and they were right... one of the best tastings in the Moselle both for its kindness and quality... thank you very much

Some of the best wines around the Mosel. Johannes, the owner, was incredibly accommodating and hospitable. His knowledge and care for his winery are evident in the sublime taste of his wine portfolio. This is a hidden jewel and a must stop in Mosel valley.

I love this perfectly balanced wine with a little minerality in the finish. I’m not a usual Reisling fan, but this is good!

One of my favorite rieslings I have tasted so far. As usual I called to make an appointment. They speak fluent English. The tasting area is really modern. You get very thorough explanation on soil and winemaking procedures with the effect on their wine. Bought a few bottles and can’t wait to see how the GGs age. I’ll be back!
