The first bottle was divine. A Muscaris. Before I go home, I have to get a second helping. I consider myself to be a pretty good wine connoisseur. This elixir was simply amazing in terms of body.

A wonderful place to arrive after a hike. When you walk the Geotrail, you immediately feel the love with which the Winkler-Hermaden family looks after their Schlosskogel. And that's exactly how the wines taste, my favorite is the Pinot Gris. If you are in Kapfenstein and like wine, you should definitely plan some time and visit the winery with the "Long Cellar", which has been organically farmed for many years. There is a great breakfast in the castle restaurant, not just for overnight guests - registration is necessary. ... and the view of the volcanic land from the castle terrace...

Absolutely gorgeous location. Tons of history. Beautiful buildings. And, most importantly, excellent wines with lots of local varietals. We had a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Highly recommended.

A visit to the winery was a real pleasure! The exquisite wines and friendly service exceeded my expectations. The selection of wines impressed with their quality and variety. The expert waitress took the time to guide us through the range and provide us with interesting information about the different wines.

Enjoyed a delicious Martiniganserl with wonderful side dishes (including duck) in a fantastic 4-course menu and perfect wine accompaniment in the Schloss Kapfenstein restaurant - all respect!
