Vinho Verde Vineyard Tour & Tasting with Lunch

We had a lovely afternoon at Vinhos Norte learning about the company's history and production methods, and about vinho verde in general. Celine was very knowledgeable and chatted to us about all aspects of the production process and the local area. We had our 16 year old daughter with us and Celine made her feel part of the whole afternoon - our daughter really enjoyed it. The wine itself was delicious - we tried two white and one rose. Unfortunately the company does not export to the UK any more so we are not able to buy the wine at home. Would definitely recommend this wine tasting experience.

I cannot recommend this experience enough. Whilst it is no longer free the experience was certainly value for money, in fact it exceeded my high expectations and surpassed other wine tasting experiences I have had. The winery tour was carried out by the head wine maker (not usual) so knowledgeable. The host (one of the owners) then shared the history of the vineyards and winery. Followed by wine tastings accompanied by food. The host was very accommodating to our vegan diet providing delicious food cooked by her friend and mother. She shared her knowledge of wines and international markets with us and nothing was too much trouble. I can honestly recommend anyone to access this experience. You will not regret it.
