La nostra storia
Morgado do Quintão è stata fondata nel 1810 e da allora è rimasta di proprietà della nostra famiglia. Per oltre 200 anni, la tenuta ha navigato attraverso i mutevoli eventi politici e la radicale trasformazione dell'Algarve durante il boom turistico degli anni '80 e '90, anni in cui molti vigneti hanno ceduto il passo allo sviluppo edilizio.

Nel 2017, la gestione ci è stata affidata da nostra madre, Teresa Pereira Caldas de Vasconcellos (1941–2017) , artista contemporanea sperimentale e docente. La sua curiosità e la sua pratica creativa hanno alimentato un profondo legame con questo luogo, ispirandoci a tutelarne il paesaggio e le tradizioni, abbracciando al contempo un'innovazione ponderata.

Nel corso di quattro generazioni, ogni membro della famiglia ha contribuito con un capitolo unico – curando vecchie viti, restaurando muri a secco e preservando le varietà di uva locali – affinché la generazione successiva potesse costruire su un'eredità viva. Oggi, continuiamo questo lavoro con vini a basso intervento e significative esperienze enoturistiche che celebrano il patrimonio culturale dell'Algarve, la resilienza della nostra terra e lo spirito intramontabile della nostra casa di famiglia.

We visited the winery for a tour and wine tasting. It was a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting, accompanied by truly delicious wines and perfectly paired snacks. The very knowledgeable tour was conducted in English, but it was an interesting and engaging presentation, especially since the winery practices organic farming, which, as we learned, requires some specific cultivation methods.

Our outing at Farmer's Table was wonderful. The setting is so charming. Dining under the olive tree and the wonderful food and wine pairings were lovely. The experience was great. I have already recommended it to friends! We did not use the hotel.

We joined the Farmer’s Table and it was lovely. Setting under a 2000 yr old olive tree among the vineyards was beautiful. Food was very good and the wine was delicious. We ended up buying many bottles of their wine. I would highly recommend this

We did the wine tasting and had a great time! The place is absolutely beautiful and Pascal, our host for the tasting, was fun and explained the wines so well. We stayed in the grounds after the tasting to soak in the beauty of the place. We had such a pleasant time. I would definitely recommend
