The Story Behind I Cipressi
The I Cipressi winery has its roots in the early 1960s when the Frangiosa family relocated from Campania to the picturesque hills of Montepulciano, Tuscany. They began their journey by cultivating grapes on a small farm, laying the foundation for what would become a cherished family legacy.
In 1995, Luigi Frangiosa took a significant step by establishing the family winery, creating a brand that honors the rich traditions of the Tuscan region. Today, I Cipressi spans approximately 6.5 hectares, with half dedicated to producing the esteemed Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
The winery focuses on native grape varieties that tell the story of Tuscany, including Sangiovese, Canaiolo, and Colorino. Each bottle reflects the unique terroir and heritage of the region, making I Cipressi a must-visit for wine enthusiasts and travelers seeking authentic Tuscan experiences.
