Maserof Winery and Museum is situated in a beautifully restored ancient Roman villa, originally rebuilt by Englishman Peter Pateman in 1972. Located in the picturesque village of Jalon, Alicante, this winery is surrounded by lush vineyards, almond and olive trees, and breathtaking landscapes. Today, Carolina Pateman, Peter's daughter, continues the family tradition by crafting exceptional organic wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Valencia region.
The Winery Museum boasts an impressive collection of archaeological artifacts from the Bronze Age, alongside unique agricultural tools and furniture that span from the 11th to the 19th century. The structure itself preserves the essence of the original Roman villa, featuring authentic tiles, a traditional kitchen, and original windows and doors. The Maserof Winery and Museum stands as a testament to the cultural and historical heritage cherished by the Pateman family, making it a must-visit for wine enthusiasts and history buffs alike.

Menyn är unik, så det är värt att fråga. Maten är genomsnittlig. Det är inte billigt, men atmosfären kompenserar för det. Du kommer att ha en rolig och annorlunda eftermiddag. Meny för 5 personer med kaffe 265 euro.

En unik plats perfekt för en liten upplevelse med vänner. De erbjuder en rundtur på engelska runt i lokalerna med hemgjord sangria och maten görs på gammaldags vis, utan el eller gas. Priset är cirka 50€ per PAX.
