A Family Tradition Since 1870

Bodega Ruiz Torres, located in Cáceres, Extremadura, has been crafting exceptional wines since 1870. This family-owned winery has built a reputation as one of Spain's finest, with its wines enjoyed in over 35 countries. Now in its fourth generation, the winery focuses on meticulous wine production and aging, ensuring every bottle reflects the family's dedication to quality. Bodega Ruiz Torres is known for its young wines, including Crianza and Reserva, as well as cavas, sparkling wines, frizzantes, and vermouth.

The Path from Vines to Wines

Situated in a stunning area of Caamero, just 10 kilometers from the Royal Monastery of Guadalupe, the winery features a grape harvest room, laboratories, and a production area equipped with stainless steel tanks. The aging cellar, crafted from French and American oak, and the bottling and storage facilities contribute to the winery's commitment to quality. The vineyard thrives on slate soil at an elevation of 800 meters, where a unique microclimate allows grapes to ripen slowly, enhancing their quality. This careful approach has earned Bodega Ruiz Torres numerous awards in both national and international wine competitions.

Totally recommended. It is in a beautiful environment. The visit was very enjoyable and educational. The person in charge of showing the winery, Alison, was friendly and attentive at all times. At the end there is a tasting of wines and typical products of the area. We were a group of 4 people and they made the visit just for us. We had a very pleasant morning, thank you very much.

It was amazing, very friendly and with very clear and understandable explanations from Alison, who is in charge of the tour of the winery. During the tasting with the explanations of the winemaker, the aromas of the wines were well recognized. We will repeat it again to enjoy another experience since we were there on Valentine's Day and the tasting was blind. The Cava is fantastic and I won't even tell you about the Verdejo. You have to go and enjoy.

Excellent winery! It was a visit with friends and what a success, we really enjoyed the guide with his explanations, you could see the involvement in the family winery, but above all the wines that we were able to taste at the end in a magnificent tasting, certainly very well accompanied of sausages and cheeses from the area. Highly recommended!

I had the opportunity to visit the Ruiz Torres winery recently and I must say that the experience exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the winery team welcomed us with a warmth and kindness that made us feel at home. The guided tour was led by an expert who not only knew every corner of the winery, but also knew how to transmit her knowledge in a friendly and understandable way, adapting to all experience levels of the group. The wine tasting was, without a doubt, the highlight of the experience. The person in charge of leading the tasting showed absolute mastery of the subject, but the highlight was her ability to share it with patience and passion. Each wine we tasted was accompanied by a detailed explanation about its characteristics, production process, and pairing recommendations. Thanks to her educational resources, she was able to guide us so that we really captured each note, aroma, and texture, making each of us discover something new and fascinating in each glass. At the end of the experience, we felt not only satisfied, but truly enriched. It was a complete experience, where every detail was taken care of, from the guide to the tasting, making this an unforgettable visit. It is definitely a winery that I would recommend to any wine lover, or even to those who are simply looking for a memorable and enriching experience.
