Under the stewardship of Francesco Spada, the winery continues a legacy that began in 1910 with his great-grandfather, Giuseppe. Francesco's father, Renzo, played a pivotal role in refining the winemaking process, and at 81, he remains actively involved in vineyard management.

Named after Renzo's nickname, El Cencio, the winery's flagship wine has garnered numerous awards for its exceptional quality. The vineyards span ten hectares in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, specifically in Cariano, where Francesco cultivates a variety of high-quality grapes with respect for the local ecosystem. The estate produces notable grape varieties, including Garganega, Corvina, Corvinone, Molinara, Rondinella, Cabernet, and Merlot.
