The winery with the oldest Cavas in the market empowered by patience and time

Family Winery Since 1312

Mestres is the family winery located in the main square (and below) of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, the capital of cava, since 1312.
Casa Josep Mestres is the old family house from the 16th century, renovated in the 19th century. It is protected as a cultural asset of local interest.
Mestres is focused on the production of long-aging sparkling wines, seeking complexity and intense flavors over time. The aging range goes from more than 3 years of aging to 30 years of aging. The philosophy of the winery is to produce with a natural cork stopper during aging and with the Brut Nature style (without added sugars).
