Château de Castres is a beautiful old property surrounded by gorgeous vineyards and that gained its name from its owner, Baron de Poitevin. The estate covers an area of 40 hectares of vines where they grow a grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. Mostly producing red wines, Château de Castres also produces high-quality white wines that are stored and aged in French oak barrels. Currently, José, Brigitte, and Léa Rodrigues together own the winery. Château de Castres produces delightful and notable wines with softness and finesse.
