The history of Château De La Grave dates back to the 14th century. The estate covers an area of 45 hectares in the heart of the Bordeaux area. The Bassereaus family runs the winery and each generation of the family has been working hard to improve the quality of the wines. The wines from Château De La Grave have an exceptional structure and finesse, which comes from the owners’ passion for winemaking.

Unique Wines of Château De La Grave

All of Château de la Grave’s red wines have a majority of Merlot in the blend, creating charming fruity flavours. The white Côte de Bourg called “Grains Fins” is a rare blend of Colombard and Semillion grapes, carefully fermented in barrels to develop spicy notes while keeping the predominant white fruit flavours. Château De La Grave’s wine “Nectar de la Grave” is only made in the greatest of vintages from the best and healthiest grapes.
