Château de Malherbes

We organized a professional meeting for around thirty people in this magnificent location. The teams on site are very professional, attentive and do everything to make your life easier. A big thank you to Chloé and Christophe. Our guests were unanimously delighted with the complex and its surroundings.

We toured the entire site in 2023 and received an excellent welcome! And this year we deliberately stopped to refill our bottles after returning from vacation! A great wine site and a team that knows their stuff! Definitely worth a visit if you're passing through!

Very pretty setting! I went there for a meeting. Right in the middle of the vineyards, I think they also celebrate weddings. Go do some tastings.

Had a fantastic experience walking through the vineyards and getting to know a bit more about the local grape variety and sustainable approach to winemaking. Their main building has just been recently renovated according to the best sustainable wine standards. Julia, our guide, explain in simple terms the winemaking process! Got back home with some refined wine knowledge and a good few bottles of their red number 2!

We had a wonderful experience. Christophe warmly welcomed us and gave us an interesting, informative introduction, pleasantly responding to our questions throughout. We learnt a lot of things from history to features of Bordeaux wine. It was concluded by a tasting session of red and white wine, which was totally excellent. Response when booking was also prompt and courteous. Thank you so much for such a fantastic time, it has made our Bordeaux trip unforgettable.

What a fantastic place. We booked for the barrel tasting tour and we’re not disappointed. We had a friendly greeting by Christophe who we had booked with via email, and Chloe took us on the tour. She was very friendly and clearly knew her stuff. After the tour of the vines, we headed to the barrel room and we’re able to sample wines before they were ready to bottle. We then had the finished products to taste of the three wines that are produced. Excellent tasting experience with Chloe, who detailed the flavours. Exciting times ahead for this chateaux and we’d love to visit again in the future. Thank you so much for making our visit so enjoyable.

Beautiful cellar, excellent wines and 5 stars especially for the careful and detailed work of the guide!

Looking for a visit to a castle on the right bank, the one in Malherbes was recommended to us. So we went there on Saturday morning with friends, and were more than delighted. We were welcomed by Juliette and visited the vineyard, then the vat room, and finished with a tasting with recognition of the aromas. Honestly, we had a great time. Juliette is passionate and shares her knowledge with pleasure. She has an impressive knowledge of all the details of this castle (history, viti, vini processes, future projects, etc.). She made this visit extremely enjoyable, rhythmic, and all in a good mood. We learned a lot of things but did not follow a "course". It was interactive and very friendly. The sublime environment and the incredible architecture of the buildings also contribute to making this moment unique. The visit ending with the play of aromas is very nice to do with friends. In short, we recommend 10,000% the visit to this castle.

We had an amazing experience, learning a about wine making and of course a wonderful wine tasting to finish the tour. Very close to Bordeaux so easy to come by car or bikes ( which is what we did) Totally recommended!

Wandering in search of a castle to taste the good wine of Bordeaux. My friend and I stumbled upon the castle of Malherbes. A new and clean place. After passing through the door, we are greeted by a warm staff. We took the 3 wine tasting formula. A charming young woman then shared her passion for wine with us, 1 hour of clear and precise explanations in a friendly setting. Of course, the wine was very good. I recommend it!
