In 2019, Château Smith Haut Lafitte achieved Organic agriculture certification after a three-year conversion process. For the past decade, the skilled vintners have implemented biodynamic practices that enhance vine health and prevent diseases. Traditional viticulture methods are complemented by modern technology, including satellite imagery, drones, and detailed soil surveys, to monitor grape ripeness and vine health. The estate features underground cellars capable of aging up to one thousand barrels of red wine, while a separate cellar is dedicated to white wines, both equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
