A Winery Nestled Between Two Mounts

Entre-Deux-Monts: thé name comes from the lands. The winery estate is located between the Red and the Black mountains: the Rodeberg and the Zwarteberg. These mountains are the most green and most hilly region of Flanders, Heuvelland.

Three Generations of Passion for Farming and Wine

Entre-Deux-Monts come from a line of family that started in the 1950s. Grandfather Jean Bacquaert used the farmland then, for tobacco farming. His son, Yves Bacquaert was a wine merchant and both the passion of wine and the skills and knowledge of farming and handwork in the fields have been passed on to grandson Martin Bacquaert who has used them wisely and hence Entre-Deux-Monts was born.

The Fertile Soils of Entre-Deux-Monts

The Entre-Deux-Monts is spread across 18 hectares of vineyards. Starting off with 3 hectares, the winery has grown to 18 hectares, today. The soil here has sand lily mixed with iron sandstone and silex. This works out great for the vines that grow here. Chardonnay, Kenrer, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Auxerrois, Sieger and Acolon get their nutrients from these lands. These grapes give form to red wines, white wines, rose wines, sparkling wines and fortified wines that are made here with grace.
