We had such a fun and informative tasting with Chris at House of Arras. The setting is stunning, and we received an excellent overview of their winemaking process. We tasted three wonderful, sparkling wines, including several major award winners, and two Pinot Noirs. As an American tourist, I really enjoyed the experience to learn more about all the wine making in Tasmania.

We learned so much during our visit to this fascinating wine region and and one of its outstanding properties. The information provided about the timeline of the very existence of the island of Tasmania itself through to the winemaking efforts here were woven into the specifics of climate and soil such that we were provided with a thorough understanding of the viticulture and the resulting outstanding wines we tasted. This was by far the most comprehensive and informational "wine tasting" we have experienced and well worth the ten time zone journey.
