Kletarstvo Petrič is a beautiful winery in an extreme viticultural location and has been producing delicate and fine wines for generations. The winery values producing organic wines with minimal intervention on vines. Kletarstvo Petrič is also a member of the Association of Family Growers-Winemakers of Slovenia. Hence, they are one of the oldest families to work and produce the finest wine in this region.

Perfect Viticultural Locations with right technique

All the vineyards of Kletarstvo Petrič are situated in one of the best lands for vines and grapes production. The vineyard's soil structure, which is primarily marl, is ideal for growing native Vipava types like pinela and zelen. Along with Rebula, a local varietal, the Petri family also cultivates Yellow Muscat, Laka Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Barbero. They produce healthy, lightly sprayed grapes with proper vine trimming and the winegrower's shade during the summer.

Varietals of Exquisite Wines

The winery includes a 130-year-old cellar where the majority of winemaking occurs in a big barrel. While still upholding its long-standing tradition in the winemaking industry, it adopts a contemporary approach to winery production. There is little intervention in the production process because the winery places a high value on the organic development of these grapes and wines.
