This is a beautiful small hotel in the middle of vineyards. Perfect for those who are looking for a quite stay. By car it takes around 5 minutes to Libourne and 35 to Bordeaux. The staff has been very friendly and so helpful. We basically planned all our activities with their tips. There are some good restaurants around and you can also enjoy an excellent basque menu there.

Our honeymoon stay at Château Fronsac was absolutely unforgettable! I still think about it with warmth and goosebumps. It was so cozy and beautiful, with an incomparable château atmosphere that made us feel like we were in a fairytale. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay even more special!!! The breakfasts were delicious, and their own Fronsac wine is something that deserves a review of its own! Unfortunately, we only stayed for two nights... But we took with us bottles of wine and memories. One of my favorite moments was waking up early and walking through the vineyards in the morning. Just imagine this - the air was heavy with humidity but filled with the sweet scent of grape juice!!! and then you step out from the vineyard and feel the croissants scent freshly baked for the breakfast... OMG!!! Château Fronsac is truly worth a visit, and I highly recommend it!

What we would call a grape grower and winery in Japan also runs an inn. I stayed there just in time for bottling season so I could take a tour. I was grateful that you took the time to call to confirm even though I checked in late. They will also give you information about nearby restaurants. This is a highly recommended place to stay.

We have just been in this little paradise, we loved the location, the room was great, very large and very clean. The owner showed us his small winery and we had the pleasure of tasting the wines that he produces. He also recommended many places to visit as well as restaurants to have lunch or dinner. Everything was great.

We spent 4 excellent days and evenings at the Closerie du Fronsac. Clement is an outstanding host who never hesitates when asked for recommendations or places to go in the surrounding area. His chateau is superb for day trips to the regions of Pomeril, St-Emilion, Blaye, and others. His knowledge of wine was demonstrated upon our arrival, with his excellent wine. He also surprised us with his culinary talents for lunch but especially for excellent gourmet meals for dinner. The rooms, and especially the beds are very comfortable. An excellent experience in all aspects. Thank you to Clement and his partner for a wonderful stay.
