Le Rive Covers 300 Hectares of Farming Land

Surrounded by agricultural land from all directions, Le Rive Winery is located in charming Negrisia di Ponte di Piave, in the Treviso province. Situated 30 km away from Venice, the estate has its origin in the Eastern part of Gioiosa et Amorosa Marca Trevigiana. Here, a broad range of grapes is produced, from the fresh and fruity Prosecco DOC to the full-bodied Raboso Piave, which finds in this land its ideal habitat.

Operating Winery Since 1888

In the late 19th century, the Bonato family started cultivating grapes in the estate-owned vineyards. Generation after generation, the winery has experienced numerous evolution phases. Today, following the family traditions, Luigi and Andrea run this dynamic estate with a modernized cellar. The duo’s father, Gino, has taught them all the unique wine production techniques he had learnt from his father. They use a thousand-year-old Venetian winemaking convention, accompanied by creative technology, promises an outstanding product line. Their wines include red, white, and rose wines, along with sparkling and dessert wines, made under Prosecco DOC and Malanotte Piave DOCG status.

Wide Range of International & Native Grapes

Luigi is an oenologist and agronomist, and Andrea is a skilled winemaker. Together, the two brothers have brought diversity in the vineyards by planting around 25 varieties of grapes between the Treviso and Udine regions. They grow top-quality Raboso, Glera, Sauvignon, and Manzoni, paired with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. In some areas, they plant Merlot, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Nero, Chardonnay, Moscato, many more.
