It locates in the Breganze, a beautiful village that favors the cultivation of grapes and olive groves at the foot of the Asiago Plateau. The vineyards and olive plantation cover an area of 40 hectares in total. A charming vineyard sits in the Fortelongo area, a short drive away from the north of Breganze. One of the vineyards locates between the Santo Stefano and Ferrata which is the flagship of the Maculan company.
Best Climatic Conditions for Great Wines
The rolling hills of the Breganze illage provide an ideal terroir for the cultivation of a wide array of vines. It includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Nero, and Chardonnay, along with rare Pinot Grigio, Tai Bianco, and Vespaiolo. With great passion and dedication towards the family business, Fausto has produced many luscious wines at Maculan Winery over the years.
A True Family Business
In 1987, the family purchased land in Brogliati Contro area and dedicated it to the production of unique Sauvignon Blanc. In 2007, Angela and Maria, the daughters of Fausto, joined the family’s winemaking business. Nowadays, two of them handle various stages of wine production, along with their father.
