Thanks Laura, for a great visit. We opted for the best option and tasted the single vineyard wines. Very expressive wines, really loved the 100% Garnacha, we had an awesome drive in the vineyard. Amazing views of Porrera. We had a good time.

I can only give it 5 stars. Obviously deserves 10 more! The place is a little paradise. By place we mean the time of the visit to the winery and the closest plots. Marco Abella goes further: plots of mainly Carignan and Garnacha that represent the coolest part of the DOQ Priorat up to an altitude of more than 700 meters above sea level. Where the Garbinada caresses you while you contemplate an idyllic landscape. The hospitality of Na Olivia and David fits perfectly with the environment, as the wines of the Priorat are warm and passionate and the wines of their particular cellar are fresh and nourishing. We were able to walk through the vineyards and visit the winery, where the magic happens, where children of the territory and good work are born, such spectacular wines as Clos Abella made from Grenache and Carignan or Roca Roja, a 100% black Grenache with a soft aging 18 months in barrel and 3 months in amphora. But what fascinated me was Mas Mallola!! Phew!! What a vinasso!! You could say that it is a plot wine since the grapes for its production come from the La Mallola winery. Garnacha and Carignan give us a wine with an aroma of ripe black fruit, toasted and a milky touch, or of strawberries with cream that make our mouths water at the end of the glass. Fresh entry and in the mouth follow those notes of toasted and ripe black fruit. I recommend it 100% and will have it in my shop soon. If you pay a visit to the winery, do not doubt that it will be one of those you have to take home. Celler Marco Abella, a must and a surprising visit whether you are in Porrera, Priorat or Barcelona, whether visitor or local.

Excellent visit, a very pleasant chat with Laura, telling us a little about the history of the winery and the Priorat. They also showed us the process of their wines and the tasting was incredible. Their high-end wines are sensational. We left very satisfied and thinking about returning.

I will not be the one to rate the wines, that is what the experts are for (Parker and Co.) and they certainly do not fall short in valuing the care and quality of the product. In this case I value a guided tour of their facilities by the lady who served us, Mrs. Soledad. Great knowledge as a winemaker and exceptional human quality. She made us feel at home and the tasting was excellent, we could not help but buy the best references of the house after tasting them. I do not know if it is because of the harsh conditions of the soil and the climate but the hospitality of Priorat is worthy of admiration.
