The roots of Monte del Frà trace back to 1492, when a convent of friars practiced winemaking in Veneto. In 1958, the Bonomo family established the winery, cultivating grapes in Northern Italy. The Bonomo family, now in its third generation, continues the legacy of this 20th-century winery, originally founded by Eligio and Claudio. Marica, Silvia, and Massimo passionately manage the winery, ensuring the production of exceptional wines.
The rolling hills surrounding Lake Garda, shaped by glaciers and blessed with a Mediterranean climate, create an ideal environment for growing fine grapes. At Monte del Frà, a diverse range of varietals is cultivated, including Garganega, Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, and Chardonnay. Write a reviewWe did the Grand Cru experience and added the chocolate pairing. Everyone was excellent. Great customer service. Our tour guide (Alessando) has a great passion in what he does and made the tour enjoyable. We had arrived early and the gentlemen in the shop let us sit at a table with a white wine that wasn't part of our tasting experience. The cellar was magnificent and the wines are delicious. Thank you for a great time. We purchased a tour for our friends too so they can have the same experience.

We (three couples who are friends) had booked the classic wine tasting. It was a very nice afternoon with great wines and lots of information. Great value for money and a really nice guide. Next time we will try chocolate and wine!
