Established in 1997, the estate is a family affair, with Adele managing business and marketing, while their children, Remy and Virginie, contribute to the winery's success. Daniel Le Brun's ambition was to create the finest Méthode Traditionelle wines in the world. After visiting New Zealand, he purchased land in the Wairau Valley town of Renwick, believing that Marlborough's unique soils and climate could rival the renowned Champagne region. The vineyard, situated in the Wairau River bed area, benefits from ideal conditions for vine cultivation, including optimal soil, temperature, and rainfall. Since 2009, the estate has prioritized sustainability, ensuring that their winemaking practices protect the environment.
