Our focus is on single-vineyard wines, complemented by a selection of premium regional wines from Marlborough. Personally my favorite winery in Marlborough, very friendly and knowledgeable Max with lots of passion that his family doing on this beautiful winery ,a bit different but very delicious Sauvignon blanc and Chardonnay, also my own favorite Pinot noir! highly recommended as must visit in Marlborough, definitely will be back with friends! Thank you Max and all your family!

Mahi winery offers private tastings and tours by appointment only. Lucy was very accommodating and was able to fit us in on short notice. She was engaging and informative as we toured the facility and wine cave, and also as she led us through the wine tasting. We were touring the Renwick wineries on our own by bicycle, and Mahi’s location was easy to access. Would highly recommend this activity.

We were on a bike tour with “Explore Marlborough Wineries By Bike”. It was a ship tour offered to us while in the Port of Picton. We tend to opt for a small group tour while in port, but this caught our eye. It would be a bit physical, scenic and at the same time some fun comparing New Zealand’s wine country to our own here in California. Our last stop on the bike ride was at Mahi Winery, our favorite!! Beautiful grounds, beautiful architecture, beautiful wines! Unbelievably hospitable and generous with their wine, and the fantastic lunch that was prepared by their fabulous chef “Marcia”. I’m still trying to replicate the potato green bean dish, the corn with cucumber salad, and the recipe used for the salmon. Oh my gosh it was incredible! The wine...the wine....yes, we purchased some bottles to take with us on our journey back to Sydney before departing back to the USA. Thank you for a fantastic experience.
