Novi Vineyard, established in 2018, is nestled near the historic 19th-century Cianowice Palace, just 3 kilometers from the stunning Ojców National Park. The Adamowicz family revitalized this area, transforming the renovated palace and park into a picturesque backdrop for the vineyard. The winery is located within the charming confines of former farm buildings, offering a unique blend of history and viticulture.
The vineyard sits at an elevation of 410 meters above sea level, where the soil, often referred to as 'Jurassic', is rich in calcium. This unique composition supports optimal grape cultivation and enhances the aromatic profile of the wines. Covering just over three hectares, the vineyard is predominantly planted with white grape varieties, making up 70% of the area, while the remaining 30% features resilient red hybrid varieties. These grapes thrive in the region's cooler climate, allowing for the production of high-quality white wines that reflect the distinct terroir of Lesser Poland.

Write a reviewWe visited Novi during a mini-vacation a few weeks ago. We didn’t know what to expect, but it was the highlight of our trip. Lee & Lisa (the owners) are wonderful hosts and full of southern charm. The wines are excellent (our favorites were the Norton and the Port) and the stories you hear about them make it even better! If you’ve got a chance to visit and learn more about this family operation, don’t miss out!

This is the best wine being made in Alabama. On a lazy summer Saturday, my wife and I jumped in the car and decided to drive out for a visit. The establishment is quaint but beautiful. We each did a tasting and wow were we impressed! Every single wine was delicious! They tend to make dry wines, which are my preference. The owners were very friendly, and the view of the vineyards was wonderful and relaxing. Our only dilemma was trying not to buy bottles of every single wine when leaving!!! Highly recommend!

Our family visited this vineyard on Saturday and had the best time! The owners are extremely knowledgeable and welcoming, and we enjoyed a tasting including three grapes grown on the property (we purchased a red blend, their on site white, and on site red). What is unique about this vineyard is the elevated grapes they offer including French varieties! (No super sweet muscadine and fruit wines here!) Also the property itself is beautifully decorated, restful and lovely. The event they had included a chocolates vendor (hello s’mores Rice Krispies!!), delicious pizza, and fresh cut flower truck along with live music. My kids enjoyed plenty of space to run around and see the grape vines growing. All around, I’d highly recommend and we will be back!!

Free wine tasting with 6 wonderful and diverse options. Beautiful venue and relaxing scenery, paired with knowledgeable staff for the best wine tasting experience this side of the Mississippi! Absolutely recommend spending a summer afternoon sipping and relaxing on the patio. This a great destination for tourists visiting the area around Birmingham and Talladega to visit.
