Winnica Jura is a family-run, EU-certified organic winery in the Polish Jura — a striking region of limestone hills, white cliffs and medieval castles, just 25 km (a 30-minute drive) from Kraków's Main Square. We are one of the closest wineries to the city, which makes us an easy half-day escape from the crowds of the Old Town.
Poland is one of Europe's youngest and most exciting wine countries, and our vineyard sits on the same limestone bedrock that great wine regions are built on. We farm organically — no shortcuts — and everything you taste is grown, pressed and bottled right here.
A visit takes about two hours. We walk you through the vines, show you the working winery from press to barrel to bottle, and then sit you down in our glass-walled tasting room with a panoramic view over the vineyard. There you'll taste five of our organic wines, served with a cheese and bread board, while we talk terroir, Polish wine history and everything you ever wanted to ask a winemaker. And because the tasting room is fully glazed, the view — and your comfort — are guaranteed in any weather, all year round.
We host tastings in English and Polish, for groups from an intimate 3 up to 120 guests, with free parking for cars and coaches. Whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned taster, you'll leave knowing why Polish wine is the discovery everyone's talking about.
