Free parking space with electricity, toilet and shower, fresh water. And yes, you should go on a tour of the small winery and take part in a wine tasting, which costs money. Divided into four packages of different prices; we took package three for €20 (three wines, 1x oil). We really enjoyed the white wine. Very friendly and helpful team

Free parking space including electricity. We bought very good wine. But the best thing was the picnic basket: full to bursting with delicacies, everything your heart desires. Meat and cheese specialties, salad, fruit, cake, wine, fruit juice... Great. Thank you for everything.

Wonderful place, very nice hosts and the wine tasting is also highly recommended. Shower and toilets very clean. We didn't pay anything for electricity or pitch, but we bought wine.

Beautiful winery. We came here with BL Heritage Tours. We had a lovely home cooked meal along with multiple wine pairings. It was delicious and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming.

Definitely do it if you are in the Douro Valley. Nice atmosphere, friendly welcome and nice hot shower. In high season you can book a place for 20,00 € and you will receive a bottle of wine worth 25,00 €. You can also book a visit there starting from 12,50 € per person. Nice tour, delicious olive oil and wine. Of course I bought a bottle of it too. Daniël did the tour and it was very funny and interesting (dry humor that guy). The road is a little challenge, but doable. Definitely recommended!

Came here with a group tour. The grounds are lovely…beautiful scenery all around. The staff made a delicious home-cooked meal with wine pairings. Everyone loved the wine and brought some home. One couple shipped a case back to the states, which is a bit more expensive but easier than lugging 12 bottles of wine in a suitcase! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We visited Monte Travesso to taste their excellent wines. Everything was very authentic and the staff was very friendly. We also spent the night in our camper, with beautiful views. Thank you for making it possible.

We had a wonderful experience at this farm. Tília's house, where we stayed, is a little paradise with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and a stunning view over the farm's vineyards. Edna welcomed us very warmly and provided us with a great wine tasting, sharing both stories and incredible nectars. We highly recommend it. Thank you.

The landscapes look like paintings, and we feel at home on the farm because it is made up of humble, hard-working and friendly people. The wine and olive oil are top quality. A truly unique stopping point for camper vans in the middle of the vineyards. A magnificent location. "In the juice" sanitary facilities are available free of charge. We enjoyed the rosé wine we tried. I recommend it.

Ideal location for spending the night in a camper van (via easy camp) in the middle of the vineyards. Toilets + electricity. Flat location. Very warm welcome, top tasting.

Top, a welcome stop, booking via easycamp for 20 euros (price of the bottle offered on our arrival), access a little complicated but via the M512 it's ok. We enjoyed the visit and the tasting (paid). I highly recommend, watch your wallet if you like good wine.

Absolutely wonderful!! We stayed in the 3 bedroom house and it had most everything we needed. And if we needed something, you just had to ask. The fridge was fully stocked with breakfast items. Enough for lunch as well. The daily bread delivery was scrumptious! As was the bottle of wine that was there upon arrival. The views were gorgeous. Driving through the winery was a unique experience. Lots of areas to walk and explore. We did a wine tasting and decided, after 10 days in Portugal, that it was our favourite tasting experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this location!

We spent two days in our motorhome in a magnificent location surrounded by vineyards. The campsite, which has space for about 10 RVs, has electricity and is free of charge. There's also a bathroom available. Another is currently being renovated. Daniel is a passionate, professional winemaker. He took a lot of time for us: he showed us the winery and explained the art of winemaking in detail. Afterwards, we had a wine and olive oil tasting. It was truly informative. The wines are amazing. As a thank you, we bought a few bottles from the shop. We'd love to come back.

This is a wonderful Quinta (Winery) for the region. It has an authentic feel and is owed and operated by fifth generation wine makers. Our vintner and guide Daniel was fantastic, he has a wealth of knowledge and is passionate about the region and all the wines. The tour was very informative and the wine tasting was done in front of a fire, as it was winter when we visited. Daniel made our experience one of the best. The winery is very close to town and the drive was very scenic. They have three different tours at very reasonable prices, value for money. Highly recommend for families as well as we travelled with our 15 yr old son. You have to book in advance with tours at 10am and 6pm.

A great time visiting the Quinta, and the wine tasting was the best. If you want, look for the name of the Quinta on the usual booking website, book...ng and enjoy a wonderful day at the Quinta.

Exceptionally great and beautifully located free parking space. Super friendly staff. Although we missed the official wine tasting at 4 p.m., we were offered 3 wines to try for free. We then bought a few bottles and an additional can of olive oil (after tasting). The parking space has electricity, fresh water and a simple combination with toilet (with toilet paper), bidet, sink and shower! All free of charge!!! The view of the vineyards and the wine tasting itself was great! Thank you for the great offer and the friendly welcome. Clearly recommended!

Spectacular and peaceful location. A small shop for purchasing their products and tasting at 4:00 p.m. Customer service is a bit lacking.

Fantastic wine tasting at Quinta do Monte Travesso, led by winemaker David Souto. Booking in advance is recommended. Rural tourism with restored old houses invites you to stay for a few days to enjoy the beauty of the place. It is well worth a visit with time to appreciate the vineyard and the wine produced on the family farm.

Great hospitality, great wines in a beautiful setting

This is a very pleasant family winery to visit. While French is not spoken, if you have a little knowledge of English, it will do the trick, and you will ultimately be able to taste for free in the owners' home. I recommend buying at least one bottle per visit. For visitors in a camper van, it's the best, with equipped parking available in a magnificent setting.

Excellent place! The only thing I would change is that for the cost of the house it should have a better breakfast, a heated pool and daily cleaning service.

A very family-friendly farm! They maintain all the processes manually. They offer personalized guided tours with tasting (16€/pp). They are very kind and hospitable; they have made us feel at home. And, if you want, they offer parking to spend the night with power outlets and bathrooms. It is well worth stopping by this place!

A great place to park in the vineyards. The place is free. There is electricity, toilet and a shower. The owner of the winery sometimes gives a simple tour of his production and is happy if you buy olive oil or his wine from him. A really nice, family-run place

Lovely warm hearted host, we felt as we were part of the family. Did some wine tasting and got a small tour through the Quinta. We also could stay with our campervan overnight. The wine was good and the experience unique. Beautiful place and people.

This is a family winery that can be visited. They are very attentive. There is a large and well-kept area with free parking for motorhomes, with a toilet, shower, and electricity. It is a charm.

Mr. José is a very special person, very polite and generous. I am grateful for the opportunity to spend time with him and hear information and stories about the wine produced in the Douro. It was a great opportunity and pleasure to be there and taste the wines from the property. Congratulations and of course we will be back. Thank you Mr. José.
