Direction Spain for a wine tour in Barcelona. In the heart of the sparkling wine territory, in my valley of Bittles, in Pénèdes, hides the family estate of Sabaté i Coca. We are in the region of Alt Pénedes, 50km from the city of Barcelona, where a jewel of nature and vineyards awaits you.

A Family Winery Sabaté

i Coca is a family history, for 135 years the tradition has been going on, 4 generations of winemakers have succeeded the gesture of one person: the great grandfather of the family who planted the Terroja grape variety years ago. Since then, the vineyard has been bearing fruit, producing a pure, high quality wine.
The family estate is also very committed to the environment, in fact they advocate a tradition and respect for the vine. They intervene minimally on the vines and practice only biodynamic methods and only with organic products, which adds to the longevity of the vines and the quality of the grapes.
The geographical location of the vineyard, the proximity of the sea and the temperatures offer optimal conditions for the vine to produce high quality wines.
The wines of Sabaté i Coca come from a set of terroirs helped and carried by a Mediterranean microclimate. The wines in perfect harmony with the land, the human and the nature give the wine a unique flavour and a very singular appeal.
