The unique location of Sad Meli winery allows the guests that visit an opportunity to step away from the noisy city life in exchange for a tranquil and cozy atmosphere. Sad Meli offers a shared lounge, garden and terrace. The terrace overlooks the rich vineyards of the winery that showcases the multitude varieties of grape cultivated there.

Following organic production principles

The wine produced at Sad Meli is made of 100% organically produced grapes. Some of the best handpicked grapes used to produce wine here are Saperavi, Kudurouli, Alexsandrouli, Mujuretuli, Tsolikouri, Rchuli Tetra, and many more local from the area. The grapes are then squeezed in Qvevri which are the clay vessels used for the fermentation, storage and aging of the wines at Sad Meli. The staff at the winery allow the wine to mature for six months in these Qvevri and make sure the wines keep all those wonderful properties.

The wine in Sad Meli Winery do not contain any bioactive additives or components which allows it to remain a pleasure to savor the best red, white and dessert wines without the chemical additives. You could even find natural sediment at the bottom of your bottle or glass as the wine is unfiltered.
