How It All Began

San Juanito Winery emerged from a vision to create a productive and sustainable country estate. After overcoming numerous challenges and consulting with experts, the owners planted their first vines in 2011. They carefully selected rootstocks and grape varieties from France that would thrive in the unique terroir of Querétaro.

Perfectly Positioned

San Juanito is located in the southernmost part of the northern hemisphere, providing an ideal climate for growing high-quality grapes. The winery benefits from the presence of Peña de Bernal, a significant rock formation that has historical importance. Known as Ma'hando in the ancient Otomí dialect, this rock was once viewed as a gateway to sacred lands. Currently, San Juanito spans 30 hectares, with 8 hectares dedicated to grape varieties such as Malbec, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Xarello, Macabeo, and Parellada. This diverse selection contributes to the winery's reputation for producing exceptional wines.

It will always be an honor to receive us. This is the second time we have visited them and every time it is an extraordinary experience. The whole team they have is incredible, you can see that they do things for the LOVE OF ART. Of course, both times Arturo alias Don Juanito (nickname I gave myself) has welcomed us and he is the icing on the cake, his attitude is incredible and he knows a lot and is an expert.

Great food, great wines, and great service! My favorite was the syrah and my wife's was the malbec-syrah blend. The artichoke and olive was our favorite pizza that we tried. Definitely recommended!

Are you planning to spend a pleasant day away from the city? With good wine? Good music? Relaxing landscapes? Visit San Juanito! The service is excellent, all the staff are very attentive and friendly. They have parking. A beautiful terrace with views that really disconnect you from the city. They have a wide selection of wines for all tastes. And it is important to highlight that the staff has the necessary knowledge to answer all your questions about wines. They have a kitchen with a delicious menu. The most complete tour and very entertaining explanation. San Juanito is the corner where you can recharge your batteries after a week of work. Do not hesitate to contact them if you are planning to organize an event. During our visit we celebrated a wedding. And both wedding participants, private visitors and we as a group were treated very well. At no time did they focus more on others than on us. This testifies to the great commitment they show to their visitors. Ohana Tours CDMX really appreciates the attention of all the staff at San Juanito and we will visit them again soon.

Excellent place to spend the weekend. Good price, good quality of food, good attention and service. The manor (hotel service) is pretty and cozy and is great for connecting with nature. The only thing I didn't like was the quality of the mattresses but we will return without a doubt

It is a very quiet and beautiful place inside. If you arrive very early, it seems that there is nothing at the main entrance because it is neglected. However, as you walk meters further inside, you will find its attraction. I recommend that you arrive at 11:30 am because if you arrive earlier, it is likely to be closed since some publications say that they open at 10:00 am. Once you enter, you will find a very comfortable place with a very beautiful view (towards Peña de Bernal). They have several packages, some of which include a wine tasting, others just the tour. There is a $480 package that includes pizza and a tasting of 3 wines. The pizza is enough for 2 people (so you can take the size into account). You can combine the packages to save on your visit. An excellent place to spend time with the family. If you are traveling with children, there are some games. I recommend that you bring sunscreen and repellent, a cap or hat and comfortable shoes because the tour requires a few meters of walking. The service is good They accept card payment
