Tres Raíces- A Winery with Restaurant showcasing the Local Mexican Gastronomy
Tres Raíces lies in the heart of Bajío, within the state of Guanajuato region in Mexico. Tres Raíces is a company dedicated to the cultivation of the vine and the production of wine, also to gastronomy through a wonderful restaurant and to the hotel industry through a luxury boutique hotel among the fields of vineyards.
Development of the Winery
Tres Raíces Wine House is a proudly Mexican company born in 2015 where the first plots for the cultivation of the vine were acquired. And in March 2016, the owners planted the first hectares of vines. Then in October 2018, they opened the wine cellar and the restaurant to the public.
The winery promotes enology, wine tourism, gastronomy and local development in the Guanajuato region together to delight each of the senses.
There is also a restaurant with signature cuisine, surrounded by more than 60 hectares between vineyard cultivation, a mirror of water that makes the stay a delight for the senses.
Integrated System of the Winery
The winery has an integrating complex, which involves viticulture, enology, gastronomy, hotels, events, and wine tourism in one place. The wide range of variety of grapes cultivated in the vineyards at Tres Raíces includes Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Caladoc, Malbec, Merlot, Syrah, Tempranillo, Sauvignon Blanc. The best handpicked grapes are taken to the cellars for the winemaking process. Fermentation of these wines takes place, followed by the subsequent aging and maturation of the wines in the cellars. The prime wine categories produced at the Tres Raíces winery include red, white, rose, and fortified wines.
