Welcome to Simonica! I’m Nini Chkheidze, proud to be the third generation in my family dedicated to the art of winemaking. Our winery was established in 2008 by my father, Mamuka, and my uncle, Nugzar Chkheidze.

After gaining over a decade of experience in various industries, I joined the family business in 2020, turning my passion for wine into a full-time commitment. I hold a WSET Level 3 certification in wines and have recently completed my studies in viticulture and oenology at the Agricultural University of Georgia.

Located in the picturesque village of II Obcha in Imereti, Western Georgia, our vineyards span both Imereti and Samegrelo regions, specifically in the village of Zana. We specialize in producing natural wines from indigenous organic grape varieties, all crafted in traditional Qvevri, honoring the environment and our heritage.

At our tasting venue, you can sample our wines while learning about Georgia's rich winemaking history, the unique Western grape varieties, and various winemaking techniques. Join us for an enriching experience that celebrates the essence of Georgian wine culture.
