Uue-Saaluse Winery

A very interesting experience. We bought what we wanted.

It's a local family owned winery which is rather rare in Estonia. The owners are fantastic people, and the wines taste like real ones :) There is also a small shop where you can buy local products.

Competent and warm family people. Owners who provide their service with passion and do so in cooperation with many companies in the area. Strength and endurance to the family and many good customers who appreciate their work.

Despite the dreary autumn weather, it was very homely and cozy. We learned how to make homemade wines and made Mulligputru which tasted great :) and the wines tasted surprised us with their flavors and were wonderful.

We’ve visited this awesome little Estonian winery every summer since it opened. Mati and Maris are excellent hosts. Their down to earth attitude and exceptional knowledge of wine, tasting room with a cozy atmosphere and lake view and of course the DELICIOUS WINE, always creates an amazing experience! They have a variety of different tasty fruit wines and if you’re lucky some limited edition gin. My absolute favorite is Rosanna (raspberry, rhubarb sparkling). I highly recommend to pop in if you get a chance :)

Maris and Mati did an excellent wine tour for us in early October - we were 20 people from almost 10 different countries. It was one of the highlights of our trip to South Estonia. We started our lunch with fish soup from Ulgumaa and handmade bread and pesto, then we tried different grapes and learned about wine cuisine. The experience ended with a tasting - a great afternoon that I can recommend to anyone who wants to come to South Estonia.

A place where you can see at every moment that people work with heart. Wonderful wines and sparkling wines, detailed farm tours and expert tasting. Good luck to the family!

Wonderful people making eco-friendly local craft wine by hand! Wonderful people, wonderful wine, absolutely stunning place! Worth the drive!

Excellent place in rural South-Estonia. You just need to call prior arrival to check for opening and it's all good from there. Loved their Seaberry wine and their signature Uue-Saaluse Romantiline. Prices are also great for such experience. We visited it while trekking, and it was just lovely sitting by the lake, drinking wine with friends, having their cat and dog wander around made it even more cozy.

Great wine, good stories from the owners themselves, all surrounded by lovely nature. Definitely a good place to visit for wine friends.
