Vanni was a rally driver and car tester. A champion racer. His story is one of success, built on perseverance and ambition. The same passions he has brought to this new winemaking project: Vantorosso. Those who know Vanni know that his life has always been about trajectories, curves, and adrenaline.

But the most beautiful challenges are the ones you don't expect. Vantorosso wasn't born from generations of historic winemakers; it was born from a challenge, from the desire to challenge oneself, starting from scratch, with both feet firmly on the ground and a great deal of humility.

There's a precise moment when speed gave way to anticipation. Today, the same concentration needed on the racetrack is needed among the Valpolicella vineyards; the meticulous attention to detail has transferred from the engine to the vineyard. Moving from sporty driving to the slow pace of the tractor was a return to the land, to real things.

For us, making wine means this: respect for time, honest toil, and the pride of seeing an idea transform into a great wine. When you enter our cellar, you're not entering just another winery: you're entering our story, made of challenges, inspiration, and sincere glasses.

The name Vantorosso isn't tied to a family surname, but rather stems from pure emotion: that of Vanni testing a car from a renowned Italian automaker. It's not about boasting about merit or special skills; the underlying idea is profoundly different. Here, the concept of "pride" marries a dream, a challenge, and the ambition to do well, combined with the desire for this project to continue over time, beyond the time of its initiator.

The winery isn't very big, but it's a fascinating historical place worth exploring. The owner is very friendly and explains the winery's history very well, from its beginnings to the present day.

Beautiful vineyard, delicious wines, and a gracious host! We had a wonderful and relaxing afternoon here. The food was fantastic, and we took a few bottles of wine home with us. Highly recommend this gem! A close drive from Verona.

We had a tasting at the property with friends: a tour of the cellar, six tastings paired with cured meats and cheeses, and an excellent Amarone risotto. The location was enchanting, the wines were truly delicious and of the highest quality; the food at Locanda Badin completed the experience. The staff were extremely knowledgeable, welcoming, and made you feel at home! BRAVO!
