The Winery

Founded in 1987, Viña Männle is the realization of winemaker Heinrich Männle's dream to continue his family's winemaking legacy from Germany. Heinrich's father established the family business, Viña Weingut Andreas Männle, in Durbach, Germany, at the start of the 20th century. After relocating to Chile, Heinrich began crafting a variety of alcoholic beverages, including fruit distillates, liqueurs, and wines, all while honoring his European roots. After extensive research into Chile's wine regions, he chose Bulnes in the Itata Valley as the ideal location for his winery.

The Estates

Viña Männle sources its grapes from two distinct regions. Guarilihue, located just 20 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean, benefits from a maritime climate that is perfect for growing Pinot Noir, Moscatel de Alejandría, and Cinsault. In contrast, Quinchamalí, situated in the intermediate depression, offers high temperatures and optimal conditions for varieties like Carmenere, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Petite Verdot. Today, Heinrich, along with his son and oenologist Martin Männle, continues the family tradition of producing exceptional wines that delight wine enthusiasts year after year.

Mission of the Winery

Our mission is to establish ourselves as a prominent player in the local and national wine market by producing top-quality wines and innovating new products. We are committed to sustainable development through the adoption of new technologies.

Vision of Viña Männle

We aim to be recognized both nationally and internationally as a leading brand known for the quality and innovation of our wines, providing a unique experience for all consumers.

Heinrich, his wife and son were very friendly and helpful. The tour and tasting were very interesting, getting into family history, the climate and topography of the region, and the winemaking process. The wines were very good and quite affordable. We only wish we had more space in our luggage for Mannle wines.

I am a wine lover from Santiago, I have tried in France, Spain and Italy, I came here based on recommendations from Google comments, in short... the incognito 2022 left me amazed by such an intense, powerful and diverse aroma just like its flavor and an infinite and unforgettable finish in the mouth. I have never tried anything like this, totally recommended, well-deserved awards. I was just passing through, straight to the sales room, excellent service from the lady, thank you very much.

A unique experience. We took the 2-hour tour with Martin Mäennle, son of the founder and current winemaker of the vineyard, creator of fascinating wines that mix creativity, sustainability and a vision that this is much more than just a business. This vineyard transmits authenticity, family, effort and a history of overcoming challenges throughout the history of the vineyard and its wines. They have won many awards, which is impressive for a winery of this size and highlights the award for the best carménère in Chile in 2024 (which is also impressive for being from the Itata Valley). Their wines in Chile are sold almost exclusively in their winery. I recommend the visit and tour, because you will meet its founder Heinrich Männle who is very friendly and cheerful, and the visit will allow you to feel firsthand how special this vineyard is. The last photo is the collection that we brought to our house in San Pedro de la Paz. My favorites: Carménère reserva, Incógnito Rosé and Malbec Asoleado.

Somos do Brasil and are hosts in Chillan, resolvemos conhecer uma vinícola da region e fomos até a Viña Männle, fomos recepcionados pelo Martin e seu pai, Martin nos acompanhou durante 2h e com muita paciência e um ótimo conhecimento explicou todos os processes desde or plantio das uvas, a diferença de cada uva até or beneficiamento ea fermentação e envaze dos vinhos. At the end of the day you can taste 5 wines with basic visual aspects, aroma and taste of the wine 🍷!! We have many children, we and our family no longer have any problems with the tour and we recommend many to Viña Männle. In order to differentiate between the great and traditional wines, the producer is represented by his team and the final result is a history of 35 years, from the Alemanha in Chile.

With my colleagues we traveled from Concepción to celebrate the company's anniversary at the winery premises. The activity included a tour of the vineyard and winery and a tasting led by the owner. Upon special request, they prepared lunch for us, accompanied of course by the house wines, all exquisite, plentiful and well prepared. It was a great experience that we hope to repeat.
