Experience great sparkling wines
In winery Sermann, the vineyards have been grown along the River Ahr since 1775 and the estate is currently run as a family business in its seventh generation. At present, about seven hectares of vineyards are cultivated. The grape varieties like Pinot Noir, Pinot Madeleine, Riesling, Pinot Blanc are grown in the vineyards which fall under the classic varieties of the vines. As far as the vintage permits, annually the selected grapes are carefully processed to a wine that ripens in an oak barrel.
The wines under the wine classifications Altenahrer Eck, Dernauer Pfarrwingert and Marienthaler Trotzenberg are the assets of this German winery. One specialty of this winery is different types of premium quality sparkling wines crafted by the means of the traditional process of fermenting in the bottles.
Besides these, red wines, white wines, rose wine and dessert wines are also made with the natural fermentation process
