Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges began their winemaking journey in 2001. With no vineyards or wine to their name, this dedicated couple shared a vision: to create a personal project that embodies their love for the Douro Valley.

What an exceptional wine tasting experience in the Douro Valley! Sandra offered us such a warm welcome before our tour and tasting with Jose. We loved learning about the history of Wine & Soul, and could tell their wines are a labor of love. Each wine we tasted was incredible and of amazing quality. It made it difficult to decide which bottles to bring home! This visit was a very special part of our trip to the Douro Valley region.

A small place to taste wines and see their process of creating wine from the grapes, to crushing them, to the vats, and then to the final product. The tasting room was really cute. It was upstairs in a little room with several small windows to peek out at the valley.
